I results came back normal appart from having to see the doc as my liver function test has some problem and the doctor asked me to make another app i have done. I knew maybe this could happen as i have hepititic C and im waiting on going on interferion to help though i suffer with long term depression so im anxious. Anyway my goal right now is to get my weight down to my normal for my height i have been trying to loose weight not very successfully though please could you give me some tips and foods to try that would help my liver thank you so much

Good luck Carol,
You may get more responses if you can get your typing situation worked out. Try typing slower, and correcting misspelled words to make it easier for others to understand you. There is a forum in the U.K called hepCnomads
.co.uk
You might also want to look at that site.
Good luck,
OH

Basically eating healthy, organic food, no red meat, limited salt intake and foods low in iron would be a start.
Avoid processed foods.Freshly prepared or raw is best.

If you are very overweight, you will need to exercise more, eat less, eat healthy and drink lots of water.
And of course, absolutely no alcohol. Its bad for your liver and worse with  hep C.

Beets and artichokes are said to be good for the liver.
I know there's more, try doing a search.

You should ask your doctor for further advice about losing weight.
