I used to work in research as a study coordinator.  I was in charge of weeding patients out.  I chose patients who, first of all, met the inclusion criteria.  Some of the things that can make you a poor candidate..... transportation problems, saying that the visits don't fit your schedule or they will interfere with your vacation, etc., (because you want a patient that will be there for all the visits and will complete the study), being argumentative, very forgetful (because you may forget to take the meds or keep your appointments or loose the bottles you're supposed to return), very nervous, being one of those people that's "allergic to everything", being terrified of blood tests, being rude, saying that you'll have trouble following the rules of the study, being late for your appointment or cancelling and rescheduling multiple times.

Tell them how much you appreciate the opportunity to participate in this study and that you will have no problem being there when they tell you because the study is your priority.

You'll do fine.

Congrats on finishing tx and hope you sustain UD to SVR!  I forget, what genotype are you and did you have Riba or not?  It's so exciting to read your and others on your trial's posts showing you've all gone UD very early on and having such mild side effects!  Please keep us posted as to how you're doing, we're all very interested!

It really about your labs and biopsy genotype... My PSI 7977 trial had a BMI number that was important.  Good luck. I took my last dose of PS! 7977 and BMS790052 yesterday.  I also went undetected at seven days.  Only minor fatique for the fist several weeks.. My study is screening also for genotype 1 and people who failed triple..

As long as you fit all the criteria (whatever that might be) you're fine.  There's not really anything you can do to 'prepare' for interviewing for a trial.  ;)  You either match the trial or you don't.
