sides

Hi folks, I am 3 weeks away from my 1st shot. Yikes!! I am m, 51,geno 1a, 900,000 vl, minimal fib/ no necrosis, normal ast/alt

I really am scared of the sides. I am an active triathlete and would like to stay as active as possible. I was just wondering if anyone out there has had minimal sides. Oh yeah! from reading your posts lately I do plan on drinking GALLONS of water

Thanks and I plan to become a regular here

Congrats Kathy

Slarso I was very active I run a decorative Wood Finishing business in the Aspen area working for the rich and famous, was was a 2 time national medalist for fighting in Tae Kwon Do Black Belt level, played drums simi-pro. Now I have given up drumming and TKD just running my business and trying to rest as much as possible. You can work out a little but I think you important not to run your body into the ground and this medication is very tough. Maybe you will be different.

Good Luck

I found the side effects bearable - not exactly "minimal" as I did get more tired and itched like hell - no nausea, no depression,no weight loss, no insomnia. I managed to carry on working (teaching) pretty much as usual. I did feel much more anti-social though and wanted to spend most of the time alone when I wasn't actually working. As I am not an athlete I can't comment on that side of things!
