very,very weak & havent even started treatment yet.

last sat had 2 go b2 hosp cause boyfriend freaked out that things wasnt right with me.i was pale could not think right.they said my liver & kidneys wasnt working right it was like i had od on my pain meds which i knew i hadnt. i take 30mg 4 times aday of oxycodone 4 the pain i am always in cause of my fibermygia and other pain. they said i was constapied & thats why i had the back up. plus they said my ammonia level is very high in blood count.but i am so weak forgetful  cant remember things. i did start seeing the phsyco dr & she recaminnted i dont start tx yet. which the liver dr agrees but its depressing 2 not start tx. i am genotype 1a stage2 grade 2 and those are high levels. i just dont know what to do anymore im so lost.!!!!!!!

It seems that you have some acute medical needs to be addressed and resolved before you begin tx; please see a hep doc. The narcotics will do more damage in the log term; there are pain specialists that specialize in  this or try Eastern medicines/acupuncture.

i think fretboard has some good input ....i think you may be in real trouble if you stay on that much oxy...maybe they can help you with the ammonia...good luck....billy

Welcome to the forum.  Although narcotics like oxycodone may make you feel better they are not good for your HepC at all.  You may want to give them up and if you can't, at least stop taking so much.  My brother in law was hooked and died a couple of years ago.  He told me over the hospital phone to stay away from all opiates because they will take you out quicker than anything he could think of, right up there with alcohol.  good luck
