For our newer members, I thought I'd share a couple of links concerning the positive benefits of using vitamin D and coffee during treatment.

Fascinating, first round of tx doc told me to stay away. This time I don't have to give it up. I won't skimp anymore, coffee all day for me.

orphanedhawk is absolutely correct. I am in the coffee business and the medicinal properties of coffee will astound you, let alone the fact that coffee cruda is used in many herbal remedies thru the centuries. I personally drink 3-5 latte's and 2-3 espresso's a day. Keep drinking, you keep me working and you Gotta love Starbucks, they are what keeps the industry going, love em or hate em.

I'm starting to suspect you have some stock in Starbucks ;)  This is really good info, thanks for posting.  Definitely worth testing Vitamin D levels. I don't have Hep C and was recently found to have dangerously low levels, in spite of my supplementation.  This is an excellent reminder, especially during tx.
