Gaining weight back (and then some) generally isn't a problem. You may want to check with your doctor if it is.
It wasn't a problem at all in fact it came right back plus more. I wouldn't worry about it just eat healthy and normal and in a few months you'll probably be right back where you started. Most of us even gain a bit!
I agree, it comes back on its own after being off treatment long enough to get one's appetite back and for the thought of food beginning to seem tasty again. Takes me only a couple of weeks to get good and hungry again. I've done the treatment twice before.

For me it took about 6 months to begin gaining weight. At 8 months post treatmentI have regained about 10 of the 30 lbs I lost.

Im still fighting to stop gaining weight....if i even smell food i gain weight
Weight loss and gain seem to vary with the individual. How much did you lose?
A common problem seems to be gaining weight back in places we don't want it. . . . around the waist or hips. Also, for those who gain SVR, the metabolism seems to slow so that getting rid of the new fat can be difficult.
The standard guidelines of healthy diet and exercise seem to be the essentials.
Exercise, the most talked about least practiced element of good health was more important than ever for me post SVR.
good luck,
Max
I get where your coming from. I gained weight with hep c, I eat lots of fresh fruits and vegies. One Dr said I had fluid built up around my liver etc. he gave me spirolactoin
for it. Didn't seem to help in the weight department. When I went to court for my SSI
hearing the Judge thought I would be really skinny. She even put in her decision that
I had no rapid weight loss, jaundice nor chills and fever. Stage 4 didn't click with her
either. I am still appealing. One can only hope, eh? Anyway I can kind of feel what you are going thru, hang in, OK? Ruthie703
