I was originally approved for and he wanted me to start Sovaldi / Oylsio but changed it to Sovaldi / Riba because of the condition of my liver and my MELD score. So there could be other factors....ask your doctor why...he should tell you?

These are the final results to cosmos phase two cohort two trial, showing the proper combinations for 1a"s
Show you md, maybe he will be interested ?
Good luck
ty candyce im a genotype 1a I just thought that would make more sense to treat with the osy.
The Sovaldi/Olysio combination is technically off-label, and is very difficult to get approval for.
I had to go through two insurance company appeal processes AND a California state appeal process to get approval. In my case, I have genotype 1, I'm a relapsing responder, and 48 weeks of riba/ifn treatment proved that I'm interferon-intolerant.
I am not an MD
But it depends on your Gyno type
I am 1b, i am on 10 week treatment of Sovaldi olysio on Tuesday
I think that Sovadi Oylsio is only for genotype 1+ 4
But Is also "off label treatment"
And MD has to justify why you can not take interfereon
But you are on RIBA, so my guess is you are either 2 or 3 genotype, or md may not feel comfortable doing off label treatment
With whatever is going on with your particular liver
Post or pre transplant etc ?
