Meds Finally Here! YIKES!!!!!

LOL...yeah, be careful what you wish for huh? and i was complaining about a hold-up...the Alinia is being delivered too ...anyway, I guess I gotta squirrel some away for a rainy day right? they deliver a month's worth at a time..guess I'm going to pre-load with the alinia for about a week anyway, that way I can tell if it's going to give me any sides, etc...if they do too much, might rethink taking it...also to distinguish which sides are from what, etc...so, I have to find out how to give myself shots, is there an online place I can see a video? think there is...also maybe get a lesson...also have to figure out when I should take my shot...have bad insomnia sometimes so I'd like to take the riba earlier then later...better go do some deep breathing, HA HA HA HA!

disagreements start...sorry if I engendered this in any way...

Jim: "Or maybe you'd like to give your take on you think people co-exist with the virus better when they're old and nearing cirrhosis?"

I did say that of course this doesn't always happen, I didn't present it exactly like you said in that sentence, to be fair...most probably the opposite happens, like you said...

what I meant was...I have two friends, and an uncle I've never met who I spoke to on the phone though....where this phenomenon happened...I was just curious about it that's all, so I spoke of it with my doc -.who has treated a lot of patients, and he said that yeah, he has seen this as well, with a few of his patients...and my distant uncle...once he got into his 60s...his disease seemed to calm down, viral loads went down, alts, etc and he seemed to progress more slowly then before....

just thought this was curious that's all...then I brought it up to HR and he told me why this might be happening with certain individuals (probably very few, I don't know of course)...

I'm nervous now so I probably didn't qualify my statements as much as I should of...This isn't some great big phenomenon out there, with a bunch of studies, etc etc...maybe they'll talk about this more as time wears on, we both know that not anyone, anywhere, knows everything about this disease, they are only just beginning to understand it...I should have my friend, who is a plumber in Burbank, come on here and tell you his kind of weird story (though they attributed his weird phenomenon to his taking of infergen, guess that was it) because he's still a stage 3, and has been for years and years now, with good labs that he didn't have before...

with my distant uncle, (who treated a couple of times but didn't svr) told me he was pretty ill with the virus from time to time, as in flare ups...and he was progressing...but he hit an older age, maybe 60s, I forgot, and his disease just calmed down and kind of stabilized...like I said, wasn't trying to infer that this would happen to everybody, maybe these are very isolated incidents, I can't prove anything here, but maybe I have some credibility, I would never lie about these things, what for? I'm treating anyway...I just found them curious, that's all....maybe I shouldn't have said anything cause I surely can't prove them

I dont mean to intrude but so far as coexisting with the virus as you get older does not always occur. Iam stage 4 just made 52 and was told I had 5 years to live b/c the virus was taking over not coexisting. Tx'd 18mths und. and i have taken back control over my body.

What rock did you just crawl out of.

Anyone reading the thread will know who started the rude ad hominem comments here.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I would send this in a pm but can't because you don't have a profile.

I'm not sure you realize that you frequently take on an "I have spoken" type tone on these matters. I have frequently noticed that you get very nasty with people who have the effrontery to disagree with your opinions and statements.  I think Deb contributes a lot and your comments to her were rude, childish and uncalled for.

As for Deb being a recent contributor, is it your position that you have superior standing by virtue of more time on the forum?  Or do you believe the forum should be closed to newcomers and only you and your disciples permitted to post here.

BTW, your nasty tone supports her assertion that you always have to be right.

Trying to understand why you're so threatened by any challenge to your opinions.

Hello!
If you'd like, I could tape our pastor..that'll put you right to sleep! LOL..I have been using meletonin when I'm having sleep probs...It is a natural REM sleep inducer (take too much and you get some real lulu dreams, though!) I took my first shot at 8:30 Monday night...Did my bedtime routine, read a little and went to bed...Had a slight ugh feeling the next morning, and some mild chills late afternoon...Tuesday I was a bit fatigued and took two naps during the day...It's day #4 now, and I've had a tiny bit of itching today, and still a bit tired, but I've been able to carry out my daily routine...No worries. Just getting the shot done was the worst part. I have an aversion to sticking myself with sharp objects too! You'll do fine!
