My labs

Howdy Y'all.

Okay,I emailed my Np again and she said she didn't receive the hard copies yet of my labs, but she went on line to get the numbers.

This is the labs from first week of March. I started tx in Jan. I don't have my old labs in front of me for exact dates and all that.

But anyhow Heptimax is UND (thank God)
NP said my hemo stayed the same 11.1
white she said went down to 1.9
but she said total neut. is 1300

Then she said "you may have had viral syndrome at the time because your liver enzymes bumped up a bit". Then she asked if I feel okay.

I emailed her back and asked her to let me know what they 'bumped up to' and how often does she see this.

I know some of you guys said enzymes fluctuate during tx, but I never heard any of you guys use term "viral syndrome." Its probably something rare that only I have. I'm special. >hehe <

So the numbers except for the hemo I know nothing about. Any advice or comments?

Thank ya kindly.

That interesting, I'll check it out. I do have to be careful, my Mom had breast cancer, and this will be my forth lump (only 41), with three biopsies so far.

I too worry about the radiation, I have had about 8 mamo's in the last 10 years.
It can't be good.

Thanks for the info!

Thanks guys!

Cindy, if you can check around and see if there is anywhere nearby that does thermography instead of mamography you are better off.

The thermog. identifies cancers as hot spots without the use of radiation.

I know mamog. have saved many lives but getting raditation every year is not the best thing. I have never even had a mamo.  I know, shoot me.  Doctors through a fit when I tell them that.

I tell them to just examine me with the breast examine and you get radiation on your boobs, I'm not. Needless to say my comment usually doesn't go over well. But the one holistic doc I used to go to gave me a breast exam and then said I will give you a RX for a mamo. So I went thru my song and dance about how I don't believe in them and them she told me she doesn't either and that she goes all the way up to Conneticut for a thermography. I said "why the heck would you want me to go then?" She figured I wouldn't go up to Conneticut. And btw, she's was right.

But anyhow I just found out that a place in Montclair does the therm., so eventually some day I'll make my way over there. That is the furthest thing from my mind right now tho.

Also have your level of vitamin D checked with your labs. They are finding that Vitamin D levels, if low, put you at a risk for breast cancer and also other cancers. Most conventional doctors are not up on all of this.

I will keep you in my prayers also. Let me know how you make out. I'm sure you'll be fine.

Glad your doing well, UND and all. I hope all go well with your Mom.
It may just be fibroadenoma, I  have had a couple myself and they are painful but nothing to worry about. Doc always told me you dont feel Cancer, so if she has pain in it, its a good sign. I too have another lump as well, going for another mammogram next month as f/u and I'm not going to worry about until then, though I dont feel this one (kind of scary). These are common.
I will say a prayer for you both.

Remember if Gods get you to it, he'll get you through ;-)
