Oil Pulling
Has anyone ever heard of this?
The method
In the morning before breakfast on an empty stomach you take one tablespoon in the mouth but do not swallow it. Move Oil Slowly in the mouth as rinsing or swishing and Dr Karach puts it as ' sip, suck and pull through the teeth' for fifteen to twenty minutes. This process makes oil thoroughly mixed with saliva. Swishing activates the enzymes and the enzymes draw toxins out of the blood. The oil must not be swallowed, for it has become toxic. As the process continues, the oil gets thinner and white. If the oil is still yellow, it has not been pulled long enough.It is then spit from the mouth , the oral cavity must be thoroughly rinsed and mouth must be washed thoroughly. Just use normal tap water and good old fingers to clean.

Have I ever heard of oil pulling? Let's just say I'm a vibrant and virile male, living alone for the past two years....

Maybe it would work for hemorrhoids. Although the mixing with saliva and the requisite swishing could be problematic. As to the spitting...
Included in the list of cured diseases - "Piles-27 cases ".
It doesn't mention anything regarding treatment protocol - where the oil goes - but I wondered the same thing. My interest was triggered when I saw the term "piles". I can't recall that term ever being used in a "medical" context. In fact I can't recall that term used in any context for at least a couple of decades. I think that might say something about their target audience.

Mike: Congrats on making the connection with hemmies and piles. I missed it - must be an age thing :) I bet you know what a carbunkle is too?
Actually on piles, my grandfather used to take an overweight pediatrician fishing with us in a Boston Whaler - a boat known to go over waves rather than through. On every big bounce Ol' Doc Joe would say "Ooooooch.... That was a real pile driver...."

I just spray some wd40 on my dental floss and the dental floss glides through my teeth. Heard wd40 works for hemroids too. Not sure if it works on piles bit isn't wd40 kind of like duct tape? good for what ails ya' . ;-)
