99% diagnosed myself with herpes

I had unprotected sex 6 weeks ago. The last 3 weeks, my genitals have been red. I noticed a red mark on my penis, around the foreskin. I instantly became very paranoid and later that night had an awful stomach cramp, I vomited 5 times and couldn't keep food down I was so axious, lasted little longer than a day. This red mark went away on its own in a couple days.
The next day I notice a small single pimple on my scotum, I tried popping this to not much success. I was squeezing very hard and it's now red around it with a yellow top. It's only sore if I put pressure on it.
I've had slight itching around my gentials for a few weeks now but nothing has come out until now.
Very paranoid but believe it has to be herpes. I'll be getting tested tomorrow hopefully.
Any chance this could be something else?

if you are under 30, talk to your provider about starting the vaccine series. It helps reduce oral , genital, and anal cancers.

I haven't heard of those shots so I would presume no. Would this make a difference to this situation?
I'll never have sex without a condom again, i can assure you that.

this sounds far more like jock itch than it does a herpes issue. You probably would benefit from using an otc jock itch cream twice a day for a week at this point.

since you had unprotected sex, you should follow up on the proper testing at the proper times. You can get tested for chlamydia and gonorrhea after 1 week post encounter. syphilis after 6 weeks. herpes, hiv and hepatitis after 3 months.

have you had your gardasil vaccine series for hpv yet?

always have protected sexual contact!! It works and it saves you from having to test so much as well as protects you!!

Herpes pretty much never appears on the scrotum alone. What you describe regarding your scrotum and the quite hard 'pus balls' is exceptionally common for men.

Sounds like nothing happened in the first three weeks after the unprotected sex. You'd expect herpes symptoms, particularly lesions, within a week, average about 4 days.

Thanks for response. I can't get my head around the sore on my genitals and the itching though.

Does not sound like herpes to me at all. Its always a good idea to get checked by a trained medical profesional. That being said herpes sores are more like water blisters not hard pimples.
