hii, lower back pain is a sign of an initial herpes outbreak but it can also be caused by a TON of other things. usually a herpes blemish will consist of many tiny blisters or clusters of blisters in the mucous membrane areas such as the mouth or genitals. they will then usually explode by themselves and scab over causing kindof a goldish scab. they also usually reoccur in the same spot. there is Herpes type 1 which most commonly effects the mouth region , and herpes 2 which most commonly effects the genitals, however you can get both in either spots. 50-90% of people have herpes 1 (or cold sores), and i think about 15-25% of people have herpes 2, however about 90% of these people are asymptomatic and are unaware that they have it. you should go get checked just in case but it didnt really sound like much from what you explained..
