Concerned, Help?

I have been experiencing swelling in my throat as well as down my esophagus. I am a traveling touring musician and have had my share of oral and sexual intercourse. I'm am concerned about knowing the right thing to do and how to take car of it. I also have a few random pimple like sores in my genital area but not often. But my biggest concern is my throat mainly. I sing, and perform live and the pain and tightness in my throat is effecting my larnyx and singing abilities. I read up on symptoms and side effects of the simplex 1 and 2 virus, one of which was pain during urination and another involving neck pains, I haven't had those two problems/symptoms but am still hazzy and concerned.

This really isn't something to put off - you should see a doctor as soon as you can. Also don't hesitate to ask for an ENT consult too.

No I haven't, But am going to here in the next few days. I'm just a little scared of what it will be, but then again alot of people experiencing these side effects may be subject to a little paranoia in regards to what's wrong with them.

Herpes would be the least of my concerns with your symptoms. Have you been seen yet and had a proper exam and testing done?
