Could this be herpes?

A little backstory, I tested positive for chlamydia on Feb 14 and took antibiotics, which failed. The azrythromicin failed twice but my chlamydia was eventually treated with doxycycline. It’s May 4 now and I am experiencing constant itching, excessive discharge, and burning when I urinate. I don’t have a yeast infection, uti and I tested negative for all the stis that they test for on a standard screening. I have been itching for about 2-3 weeks now like this. Is there a possibility this is herpes?

Did you have unprotected sex recently? Since it’s not a UTI or not yeast, please see a doctor to have them check your urethra.
It could be many things. Could be bacterial that wasn’t treated by the antibiotics you took. Could be a stubborn yeast infection, though I assume your doctor checked for that and didn’t find anything. Since it doesn’t sound like you have any external sores/lesions, your doctor can swab inside your urethra with a PCR and check if it’s the virus. It’s almost close to 12 weeks since your chlamydia diagnosis, I assume you haven’t had any further exposures, so you could always test via an hsv IgG to see if there are antibodies. Good luck.
