The other night I noticed a small, flat bump (clear/ w possible fluid) on the right side of the head of my penis. It did not hurt when I touched it. I picked at it, and then put some tea tree oil and polysporin on it. It crusted over (in a matter of a couple hours) and healed within a day and a half to two days. I am curcumsized, and find that the head of my penis is sensitive to any sort of friction, and have had problems with semen drying on the head and causing discomfort and raw spots.
This past week, I have started running again, and have noticed friction from my penis rubbing against my shorts.
A year and a half ago, I had raw red bumps at the tip of my penis (slightly sore/itchy), I went to a few doctors and they didn't seem to think it was herpes, but a heat rash or fungal infection. I had 2 swabs taken, and they both came back negative. I applied polysporin and they healed within a couple of days.
Furthermore, I have researched a lot of websites surrounding genital herpes. My only unprotected sexual encounter was 5 years and 2 months ago, where I did not experience any symptoms relating to primary infection with HSV. Near the end of the brief relationship (2 months), she experienced pain during sex, no visible sores. She was checked by a doctor with swab tests and blood tests (not too sure for herpes?). Results came back negative. I am diabetic, and usually, when I get an infection, it is quite severe and lengthy. I realize that all people show different symptoms. That is why I am confused about the situation I have recently experienced and would like further insight. Could this possibly be me over analyzing and fixating on herpes, or could there be a possiblity that it is a mere minor skin infection? I have searched all of the websites posted on this blog, but any further info would greatly help!
