Do you get flu symptoms without having sores or blisters? And how intense is the urine burn? The pain I'm experiencing now is almost non existent.

No you wouldn't get flu symptoms without lesions. If you had lesions in the urethra it is extremely painful. Have heard some say it's the worst pain they have ever experienced. It is also rare to have lesions in the urethra and not on the outside of penis as well.
