Frequency of occurances?

I have been getting very small red bumps under the foreskin of my penis for several months. The bumps do not hurt, and and very small. I am worried they might be herpes. However, there are several other things they may be related to. I had a very bad reaction to antibiotics I was on just before the bumps started coming in. I read somewhere that antibiotic use can sometimes cause a yeast infection in men. Also, I have had a recurring rash on my arm from a cast I had taken off around the time I started getting the bumps.

Yes I am sexually active, but in a monogamous relationship.

Lastly, I have been getting the bumps at a frequency that seems highly unusual for herpes. I have an occurrence almost on a weekly basis lasting 2-3 days and they seem to be getting very slowly worse as time progresses.

My question is statistically speaking what are the chances of this being herpes given that I am having occurances at such quick intervals? (annualized it would be appox 50 a year)

You don't treat something properly and it will stick around until you do.

I don't think you have herpes.

Thank you Grace. Could you tell me if it is possible to have yeast or bacteria recurring that frequently for roughly 3 months now?

Also, if it were herpes is the frequency of outbreaks i described normal at all?

You have your gender listed as female -might want to change that to male so it's less confusing for folks ;)

Bumps under the foreskin as you've described aren't likely to be due to herpes.  Bumps on your arm aren't herpes either.  follow up on it with your provider to see if it's yeast or bacteria going on though.  It also might just be normal pearly papules that are more pronounced sometimes and you are noticing them more often.  No way to tell until you are seen and properly examined.

Sorry forgot to mention, I did STD testing around 6 months ago and tested negative for all.
