Scared of Herpes infection
I had unprotected Oral Sex (cunnilingus) with a prostitute 6 days ago. 4 days later I now have Flu/Mono like symptoms (body ache, sore throat, dry air passage) with no fever. Reading on the web, these seem to part of prodrome symptoms. I have no other symptoms (no lesions, bumps etc on lips or inside my mouth). Could I have contracted Herpes?
I have never had any STD's before. I have been in good health. Thanks for your response, it helps calm my nerves a little. I am debating if I should go get a blood test done to rule it out.
