Help!!!

I thought I was having a yeast infection and took diflucan 10 days ago which majorly lessened symptoms. The symptoms never went away fully so my doc called in another diflucan today. I decided to take a look with a magnifying mirror and saw what looked to possibly be a few very small lesions just under the clitoris they are not painful to the touch and look exactly the same as they did ten days ago. My doctor physically examined my vagina when I saw him (ten days ago) but I am terrified that I really do have herpes even though he said he saw no signs of an std. Can I just be looking at normal anatomy and be confusing it with crater like very small circles?? I just started dating someone about 2 months ago after being divorced for a year. I can't imagine having to tell him that I have herpes! I'm terrified and praying this is all yeast related!

Thanks Grace! Everything seems to have calmed down again after diflucan. After I posted I was starting to have white clumpy discharge. 2 days after diflucan all symptoms are pretty much gone again. Phew

have you and your partner had full std testing that included type specific herpes igg blood testing?

best thing to do is to be seen again if your symptoms are worsening. if they suspect genital herpes, they can do a lesion culture and typing of symptoms.
