Herpes HSV 1 genital

I have diagnosed having Genital HSV 1 - 5.5 months ago.

2 weeks ago I have a few red dots and a big red dot (about 1cm diameter) at my elbow. The elbow was swollen. There are white liquid came out from the big red dot and small red dots. I have seen a doctor, he has given me an injection and told me that it is normal skin infection.

Now the swollen has subsided, the wound is slowly recovered.

The question is are all these red dots with swollen elbow are herpes? Can white liquid with some blood came out if those red dots are herpes?

Worried.

none of this sounds at all like herpes.

white liquid coming out of sores isn't herpes either.

Is it possible to have white liquid came out of the sore for herpes?

Yesterday, a small layer of skin peeled off from my thumb without any fiuld and no pain and itchy at all. Is this herpes whitlow?

Worried.

It's very unlikely to be herpes on your elbow - no matter where it's been lately ;)

You had a medical provider actually see this and think it was a bacterial infection, no reason to doubt it.
