My symptoms are , tingling in groin and anus sore buttocks , I get chills and goosebumps all the time, very tired and I get 9 to 10 hours sleep , legs and arms very week , numbers in arms and legs and feet ,any little scratch becomes red and inflamed is this normal symptoms for this desease? Are you sure? I have the EXACT same symptoms as Giroux!!!!. I have also been tested and they said that I have been exposed to the herpes virus. My symptoms have not let up and it is a little over 3 months for me. They prescibed me Valtrex which i took for 7 days but still no relief. I have no outbreaks and am very concerned.

If this has been going on for 3 months non stop it is not herpes.  Be seen by your provider for a proper work up.

Please stop posting new questions.  You have one up already let's keep posting in this one from now on.  This is covered in our read before posting.
