Herpes due to being fingered.

I asks this question on behalf of my friend. So he had mutual masturbation with a guy he barely known and he was fingered by that guy. They did not wear anything and the guy masturbated and fingered my friend's anus and also then masturbated my friend. (The guy did masturbate himself before moving on to my friend) Will he get herpes from this exposure. by the way he is having a red slightly swollen patch under his foreskin of his penis. is this a symptom??

Owh the weirdest thing happened, when he woke up today, the rash was missing and everything seemed normal. We assumed it is from the pants he had been wearing. Coz nothing seemed to happen today, and the uni health staff says that there are no visible rash or sores or swollen foreskin. So he say that nothing happened.

he needs to be seen to find out what the rash is. it's not likely to be herpes from that encounter.
