Herpes in my mouth?

I hope someone here can ease my mind.  I've had HPV for 4 years and just 1.5 years ago, I contracted HSV.  Never been promiscuous and was in relationships with both.  I was tested in March of 2007 for HSV and it was negative.  In June of 2007 I dated a guy until January 2008.  In October 2007, I found out I contracted HSV2 from my b/f.

Last year I signed up on a STD dating site and met a guy who had HSV1, HSV2 and HPV.  We dated about 4 months and over the summer of 2008 I started having a sore throat, tingling, stinging and slight swelling in my lips.  I've never had a cold sore.  I went to a walk-in doctor and at the time I didn't have insurance so he didn't do a test he said that my throat had an infection and was more than likely strep.  I mentioned my lips but he thought it might be my soap.   I took the antibiotic he perscribed and it went away.   About a month later, my sore throat came back.  I called the doctor and he gave me another round of antibiotic and said if it happened again that I would have to come back and have tests done.

Now the last month I have had the same symptoms and it's getting worse but this time I get an outbreak of white pimples on my face and chin.  Right now my lips feel swollen and are tingling and stinging.  I have noticed pimples on my body that are unusual as well.  I found one today that is white in the middle and has a red/pink ring around it.

I feel like I am absolutely driving myself crazy thinking about this all the time and what makes it worse is I have a new guy in my life that I performed oral sex (not to mention the kissing) on a few weeks ago and am afraid that I might have given something to him even though he has never mentioned it.   I am the type of person who does tell guys that I have STDs.

Please help!

I went to the doctor yesterday and he did a test for strep and it was negative.  He said I had an infection in my throat and gave me an antibiotic.  He also gave me some ointment for my lips.  It seems to be helping.  He said it wasn't herpes.  He said it could be my body's way of reacting to the infection.   Doesn't really seem to be a lot better but I've only been on it for 24 hours though.

Thanks for your help.

You need to go and be seen today and have this looked at.  If you can't get in withyour regular doctor, find a walk in clinic to be seen at.

This doesn't sound like oral herpes or a std related issue. it's been going on for awhile now so  you need a further work up.  A phone call wouldn't be appropriate - it's time for proper testing.
