Herpes or not??

I had unprotected sex at the beginning of January a few days later my whole vagina was red and inflamed and hurt. I also noticed a few bumps I went to a walk-in clinic and the Dr said I had vaginitis and that the bump could be a boil. I was prescribed an antibiotic and the redness and soreness went away, but the bumps didnt. I then went to another Dr and she didnt think the bumps were a boil, she also said it didnt look like herpes or genital warts. She did a swab but Im going crazy wanting to know if I have herpes or not :( Ive noticed a couple more bumps they arent sore, a little itchy though and they havent gone away. If it was herpes would the bumps be gone by now? It's been 54 days since Ive noticed the bumps.

irritation can cause bumps as well as molluscum and other skin infections.

Thank you very much, so far I have been tested for chlamydia, gonorrhea, trich and yeast. Not sure if I was tested for syphilis? Im just waiting for my viral swab for herpes and genital warts. Is there anything else that would be causing these itchy bumps?

yes, herpes would've went away on its own by now.

since you had unprotected sex, you have to be sure to follow up on proper std testing at the proper times. you can get tested for chlamydia, gonorrhea, trich and yeast/bv any time after 1 week post encounter. syphilis after 6 weeks. herpes, hiv and hepatitis after 3 months.
