Is this a herpes sore?
A small single bump appeared at the tip top of my lip almost hard to distinguish if in lip or beyond. I popped it via a scratch and it remained irritated and red for 2+3 days. It then is now flaky dry skin. How can I submit a photo also for detail
At this point a photo won't help much.

Also to clarify the redness remained without any visible reason.. no lesion.. no feeling of pain.. although I did initially have irritation ...the irritation only continued as red skin
That would not be a herpes sore at all if its just turned red., they open are painful and scab over yellow
Oh ok..no Yello scabbing or pain except when it had pimpled at the one point. Thanks
