If two couples have hsv1 down under does it really matter if a condom is used or not? What risks could there be if no condom is used? I recently my balls got really read and the redness just will not go away. I have taken the usual jock rash meds and it's been 4 months and there is still a little redness. The other issues is that my crotch and inner legs seem to be sticking alot. If I start sweating it's terrible.
I was wondering how do the tests differintiate between HSV-1 that is in the mouth or genital area? and the same for HSV-2? How do you know if it is oral or anul from a blood test?
just redness probably isn't due to herpes. follow up with your provider or a dermatologist if otc jock itch medications aren't working.
