Herpes transmision?

Should i be concerned that someone with a cold sore spit in my eye while talking. I can't confirm the exact location of the point at which it landed, but I felt a bit of spit land in or on my eye, I immediately wiped my eye with my shirt. Not sure if that would change anything. Is it possible I contracted ocular herpes this way? And How long would I have to wait to know? And Should i get myself into a doctor quickly?

no this isn't a risk for you.

have you ever been tested for herpes to know your own status? Statistically 1 out of every2-3 adults has hsv1 . it's incredibly common.
