I am a 27 year old male and have had limited sexual activity. I haven't had any sexual relations for about a month.
5 or 6 days ago I masturbated and and afterwards the right side of the head of my penis felt raw. I don't normally use lube, and have done this for years, so I know what it feels like when it is raw.
I masturbated again later that day bc the pain went away, but then it felt raw again.
I masturbated twice the next day and the same thing happened.
I gave it a day for the pain to go away and masturbated again once and the same thing happened.
I gave it another day and it was slightly irritated durring that day,
then I masturbated the following day bc it felt ok, then it started hurting again. I looked at it very closely and all the whole time and it didn't have redness or any real noticeable spots, just a few things that I am a hypochondriac about because the skin under the head is bumpy up close naturally.
I took a shower that night at midnight, put lotion on it before I went to bed, put it on masturbation style while flacid but only for a couple seconds to work it in.
It has hurt since then for about 14 hours, just like a raw felling, not itchy, maybe burning, but it doesn't hurt as much if I have it hanging out and nothing is touching it.
I am concerned this might be herpes because at one point today, in the right light, I saw a bb sized but flat whiter than normal spot on my penis head that looked like the early formation of a blister, (I really had to look to see it) but I looked again and it wasn't there.
1) I would like to know if this is herpes or just a friction burn and how long friction burns can last considering how much I masturbated without lube?
There was never any redness, and no bumps have formed or grown in the past five days or so that I know of. just mild and constant irritation, as if it was rubbed too much.
2) Can herpes hurt without redness or bumps or any visual symptom for days like this, and can herpes not hurt then be irritated by masturbation?
Please look at the photos, can the spots I circled be herpes? those may have been there all along and I just noticed recently because I am a hypochondriac about stds.
