My gf went to a hot tub party with about 5 other people. Drinking ensued, and eventually, one of the girls began making out with about everyone in the tub. As if that weren't enough, she also performed brief oral sex on the people in the hot tub. What are the chances my gf contracted oral or genital herpes from this? She did make out with this other girl, and this other girl did perform oral sex on her.

since herpes is on your mind, why don't you and your gf go get type specific herpes igg blood testing to see who has what so that from this point forward the two of you can make educated decisions in your own relationship about herpes precautions. if she didn't develop any obvious genital symptoms within 3 weeks of receiving oral sex, she didn't contract hsv1 from that partner.
