Had oral sex from a very shady (found out later she is an escort) lady 9 days ago.  2-3 days after startied a tingling and a fullness, dull. slight burn in urethra.  Doctor started doxycycline and didn't feel like there has been any relief.  Started acyclovir just because I had some left over (I have hsv1) and still feel the slight burn and it almost feels like its all the way down the urethra tube to the base.  Doesn't hurt or burn to pee.  When I sit or lay down I notice it more than I do standing or walking.  Head of penis is sensitive at times.  For it to come about right after I was with her has me very worried.  HIV or HSV2 possibly if she had hsv2 of the mouth?  I thought if infected hsv then its just the top end of penis not all the way to base.  Just really confused and appreciate the time you take to answer.

The substance your seeing in the toilet after you pee most likely is a natural mucus from your bladder. If your having urinating issues, have your protstate checked as if inflamed can put pressure on your urethra causing urinating issues.

Thanks guys I really appreciate it.  The reason I am worried is I got caught up in the dark world of escorts.  I am so ashamed and disappointed in myself and am going to do whatever it takes to turn my life around.  It has been a pretty constant on and off burn but when I pee it feels fine.  Did notice a tiny bit of white mucose like in toilet from pee but really haven't noticed discharge. But I can tell you it almost feels like I need to push whaterver it is out.  Last night after I peed it burned at the base of urethra for 20 or so minutes. So is discharge come out like pee, dribble, is it before or after you pee?  I have examined mine after I pee and usually more pee comes out that didn't all come out.  Guess the sensitivity around penis head is not a prodrone for herp?  I guess hsv and hiv seem very minimal which is good news.  Guys I know some questions we ask seems repetitive but I really do appreciate your time and effort.  This is a tough and scary time.  Thank you!

Hi, oral sex is relatively low risk and from what ive seen, most infections from it are UTI based from mouth saliva. If you already have  hsv1 it does build anitbodies that would help acquiring hsv2.
Its not any risk for HIV and her having hsv2 oral is also quite uncommon and if she did not have any lip sore you can pretty much rule hsv2 out as would be even lower risk.

If your not having any white urethra discharge, there is no sign of infection but maybe constant checking is causing some irritation from anxiety.
Just follow up with your doctor if your still concerned with symptoms.

I'll tell you what I wish someone had told me after a similar experience. You have HSV1 orally so its almost impossible to catch it genitally later in life.

The BJ would only be a risk for HSV1.  Stop taking the valtrex. Your issue isn't herpes.
