Interpreting HSV 2 tests

I recently had a battery of tests, and the HSV 2 IGG TYPE SPECIFIC result was 1.30 H. The lab results indicates that this only measures the presence of antibodies, and "may not be used to determine active infection or disease stage." Is there some way to determine those? (active infection or disease stage)

you tested too soon. at this point all you can do is repeat your testing 3 months after you last had sex.

has your partner been tested yet?

slight discomfort after having sex (but with a longtime partner, and I have been exclusive to that long term partner), and the test was about 10 days after.
