Looking for guidance

About a year ago now I had an exposure to genital hsv- I got an std panel done at my local clinic (7 weeks after) then another round at my annual exam (5 months after) I can't for the life of me recall of they took blood for a herpes test. Since I have been in what I thought was a carefully prepared for  relationship (we're both faithful and got tested for everything) but im not sure if I've had blood drawn and I know my boyfriend hasn't. Anyway how possible is it that one if not both of us has hsv2 and we both have no symptoms? I already plan to call both the clinic and OB to see if I was in fact tested but I'm just curious to see the odds...any help would be really appreciated!

Get a test.  You can have results in 2 days.  There is no point in asking people to be clairvoyant and diagnose you over the internet.

Thank you for everyone's feedback and Im sorry to be graphic but does mild burning in both areas when using the restroom without any sores sound like a possible implication of genital herpes?

Again, with no sores at the time its very low risk. Folks with herpes can have sex muliple time with sores there at the time and still not contract it. Also since many people have oral hsv1 you might want to test for it as if you do have it from childhood you would be basicly immune to contracting it in the genital area.

I'm sorry I must have typed incorrectly- my exposure was unprotected vaginal sex twice for short periods of time with an ex I later found out has genital herpes.

Hi, genital rubbing contact with no sores at the time, the risk you contracted herpes from a one time affair would be close to zero. Was this oral sex given to you by someone with hsv1 oral?
