Can I pass genital herpes to my infant baby by changing his diaper?

Is it possible to spread herpes type 2 to my 6 month old baby. I have an outbreak recently and I noticed that now that it has cleared up, my baby now has what seems to be a soar on his testicle. I am freaking out. I constantly wash my hand and use hand sanitizer but I could've missed a moment. Could I have somehow touched or scratched, not realizing and passed it by changing his diaper

I don't know how you would.  I would not assume in any way that you've passed herpes 2 to your infant through diaper changes.  Herpes is passed from site of infection to site of contact.  You have seen a herpes sore and know that it blisters and forms a crust usually.  If the sore does this on your son, have it evaluated.  Otherwise, simple friction from his diaper can cause this.  I would not fret or fear as this type of transference is not something that really happens.
