Possibly herpes?

I had unprotected sex with a guy who had gh and didn't tell me. About two weeks later I had itching/burning/discharge. Tested negative at 4 weeks, took monistat. Cleared up those symptoms and I haven't had those issues since. I had a csection 3 1/2 weeks before the sexual encounter so I believe I gave myself a yeast infection and the doctor said monistat would not have cleared up those symptoms if they were herpes related. Tested negative at 6 and 7 weeks. Positive for strep b though. I have a, or did seeing as how it's basically gone now tingling sensation that lasted a month. Again, doctor said herpes wouldn't cause an all over tingling feeling for a month straight. Have not had anything that I would believe to be sores. Still concerned. I know slot of people test positive by 6 weeks but I'm still concerned

I sincerely hope it's just a strange sequence of occurrences with the symptoms and that I did not catch hsv and that just having sex too early caused it. But, if it happens to be positive in the end then oh well it's not the end of the world and could be much worse

I know that herpes can be mistaken for a yeast infection that's what I guess I'm still concerned. I still feel weird down there but I don't have itching burning or discharge. It's just a weird numb feeling if that makes sense. With how sever my test infection symptoms were the doctor said that if it was herpes I most definitely should have broken out in blisters with how bad it was but nearly 9 weeks since the encounter and I haven't had any "blisters" or anything that would leave me to believe we're herpes blisters. She said the tingling could very likely be nerve damage since I had a csection and had sex sooner than the 6 week safe mark after delivering my twins. Guess I'm just still freaked out and I feel some d what I feel down there may be in my mind since I know he has gh and I've been driving myself crazy researching about it.

All you mention suggest yeast not herpes.
