Thanks for your response, I did tell him and I am very proud of myself. Many people back out and do not say a word to their partner. I did not want this chain to continue. His reaction was negative. However, I know who I am and what I have accomplished. I refuse to let anyone put me down or make me feel worthless. I will continue my journey in life and make the best of it. I am thankful to God everyday that it was not anything life threatening. He chose not to walk with me through my journey, it was his lost. I know will accomplish many more beautiful things in my life and he just will not be apart of it... Again, thank you so much for your response....

If you two have been together for the past 8 years on and off, how do you know that he doesn't have it as well. although scary you need to talk to him about it because he needs to get tested as well. He also has to be the one to decide if this is what he wants. try looking at this website theres alot of great information
