Herpes or E Coli caused infection

I have been reading/freaking out through google and found many helpful responses to some important questions  here on this website.I had some questions of my own in regards to some stuff going on down below:/ Almost a month ago (March 20th) I had protected sex with a partner and we very stupidly switched from anal to vaginal with no clean up or condom change in between. A few days later I noticed some white clumpy discharge similar to what I have had with a Yeast infection. It did not smell but it was accompanied with some itching.  I bought the monistat 1 day treatment and the discharge seemed to go away but the itching persisted and it still didn't feel to right down there. So the next week (April 3) I started my period and that seemed to go by normally and my period ended that saturday.(6) The next day I then had intercourse with a new partner and at first penetration was a bit uncomfortable but nothing too bad. It wasn't until right after that we noticed blood and urination felt like I was peeing razor blades. My left inner labia was super swollen as well. Immediately after sex I usually get small vaginal tear ever since I have been sexually active  and sure enough there was one after that encounter that Sunday. (Throughout this entire three-four week time period I have been checking my vaginal area for any blisters, sore, bumps and such and I am seeing nothing ). I made an appointment and was seen at planned parent hood this past thursday(11th) and the doctor said that the tear does not look like a herpes lesion but she took a swab test of it anyways. It didn't hurt despite the fact that she said that if it was a herpes lesion, it should have been very painful with the force that she took that swab with. She said that everything else in the vagina looked normal. I am still waiting for my results but I really can't seem to get off of google and diagnosing my self with every std in the book! I also had testing for the other types of STDs. I apologize for the extremely lengthy message but I really need some consolation. I am still checking down there everyday and occasionally when there is itching sure enough there is presence of more creamy, odorless discharge. I don't know if there is some type of other infection besides the yeast infection that I could have contracted with the anal sex or if this is herpes. Could herpes symptoms last 4 weeks? Again I am so sorry about the length of this post.-Thank you!

the best answer option is kinda bogus anyways - don't worry about it.

glad you are going friday for a more thorough work up to see if you can get a better idea of what is going on :)

I went too the emergency room it was quicker than waiting 3 months for a scheduled doctor appointment

The first partner said that he has been tested to STDs in general but again i know they don't typically test for herpes unless asked specifically so I need to talk to him about it and as for this newer partner I don't know. I have not had any previous herpes blood testing done before.

I don't recommend going to the ER for this at all. ER's are for emergency's, not things that can wait until you can get an appointment with your regular doctor. they also tend to drop the ball a lot on gyn issues - their specialities are heart attacks and broken bones, not vaginas.

I definitely recommend going to be seen again if you are having more discharge now.  your self yeast treatment could've prevented them from accurately detecting vaginitis so since it's been more time since you treated, better odds of finding out if there is still yeast or bv going on.

have you contacted both partners to see if they've ever been tested for herpes before? have you ever had type specific herpes igg blood testing done?

Oh gosh, would the BV account for the pain and bleeding after intercourse?..I've seen that this isn't really common with herpes. I'll see if i can get another appointment to specifically test for the BV.

At the time of the appointment, she said that there did not seem to be any sufficient discharge but do you think her taking that cultural swab pick up the BV?

No. Does BV have to accompanied by that fishy odor because the discharge I seem to be having is odorless ?
