unsure

Two months ago I had unprotected sex for 5 minutes but didn't ejaculate.
I've never noticed any sores but have felt itchy in my genital area and (unless I'm imagining it) a weird sensation inside my penis which lasts 1 or 2 seconds and happens 2 or 3 times maximum a day.
Could this be herpes related with no outbreak or is an outbreak coming?

It COULD be herpes.  You know your body better than any doctor or anyone on the internet.  Definitely wait a few more weeks and get a type specific IgG test in order to rule-out herpes.

I'm not trying to scare you.  What you're experiencing could be related to anything, but 5 minutes of unprotected sex is considered a high-risk exposure.  Might as well get the test.

Definitely wrap it up if you have sex before getting that test.

Let us know how it turns out, ok?

I will put it this way. If it were me, I would have protected sex and not worry about it.

Given that it's unlikely to be herpes, and I've tested for everything else, do you think it would be safe to have protected sex without putting a partner at risk?

No, because there are no sores. I bet it is in your head.

would it be hurting even before an outbreak of sores? I am just worried this is a sign that an outbreak is coming.

I did consider it a possibility that's it's in my head because I have been very anxious for the last few days
Thanks again for the reply

It is in your head. You would be hurting if you had a herpes outbreak in your penis.

Thanks for the reply.
Any idea what could cause a weird sensation in the penis. I'm tempted to say it's a tingling which I know is linked to herpes but that's only because I amnt sure how to describe it

If you did not get an outbreak with in 2 weeks or so, you probably did not get it.

I should add I've been tested for chlamydia and gonorrhoea. And it's not that.
