Scared I have Oral Herpes

I am afraid I might have oral herpes. I noticed a white clear bump on the inside of my cheek, but it went away after like 10 minutes. But when I started looking at my mouth further I noticed that I had some bumps on the back of my  tongue (not sure if it was like that all along) and a patch of clear bumps on the back of my throat. None of it hurts, and its not leaking or anything like that.

I am 20 years old and have had a sort of friends with benefits thing going on with a guy I know (includes oral sex). I don't know when the last time he was tested for STDs was, or how many partners he has had recently. I gave him oral sex at the beginning of July and then again yesterday.

Please help, I am going to make an appointment to get tested, but that won't be until next week. Any insight would be great.

this doesn't sound like oral herpes going on even with the other bumps you mentioned. following up  on it with  your provider is the best course of action.  the bumps on the tongue sound completely normal. the bumps on the back of your mouth need evaluated.

I realize that herpes won't go away in 10 minutes. It was that original bump that made me look at the rest of my mouth and the back of my throat and realized that I had other bumps on the back of my throat that didn't go away in 10 minutes.

I had planned on getting a full std panel done. Hopefully nothing will show up.

herpes won't go away in 10 minutes.

if you aren't using condoms, be sure to get a full std panel done too.
