Sign of herpes

I'm curious to know if it sounds like it.  I plan on going to the doctor this week for actual testing but I thought I'd ask.  I noticed a spot on my inner leg that's redish and skin appears wrinkled.  The skin around it is cracked.  I first noticed it about 5 weeks ago when I just happened to look.  There's no pain or bumps or discharge.  Since noticing it though it's been on my mind and I've had a tingle feeling in that part of my thigh not specific to it's location.  I also noticed a smaller spot of skin wrinkled but not red on the base of penis but no cracked skin.  When i first saw it I thought I had a ringworm but now I'm not sure.  Does this sound like it could be herpes and if so 1 or 2?  None of my partners I've had this year have had any sign or informed of anything.  I've never seen anything but I know you can have it with no symptoms at all.

this doesn't sound like herpes going on.

condoms aren't 100% protection against herpes transmission and you can't rely on folks letting you know their status or even getting tested. be responsible and follow up on your own status periodically to know your status too.

When I noticed irritation I had a cut. It hurt but I thought maybe he was just too rough. Then i saw red bumps. Those red bumps later turned into white leisions. Other than going to get checked out (You can go to the emergency room) the only other way to know is in time. And not trying to scare you. But my partner never had symptoms but still had the virus. Many people don't know.
