Genital herpes resides in the base of the spine and uses the nerves as a pathway to reach the skins surface. Not sure what you mean by character traits.

If you have genital herpes it does not spread like your suggesting. A person can have outbreaks any where in the boxer short area but herpes sores tend to appear in the same spot give or take an inch.

Have you tested positive for herpes? If you had a herpes sore inside your urethra you would be asking how to releive the pain!

Not to sound gross but a little urine driped on my leg after urinating and I'm freaking out that it may spread to my leg, chair, clothes etc

Hi, it does not live in urine but if a person has an active urethra herpes sore, urine passing over it can pass it into a vagina or anus but its not common to have herpes inside the urethra and if someone did it would be very painful.
