Worried mother-daily living

I have had herpes for a month... Two terrible OB. I'm finding it hard to hide it from my 9 year old that his mom is sick, I feel like less of a parent... Does the guilt and Outbreaks get easier ?

how were you originally diagnosed? do you have hsv1 or hsv2 genitally?

how are you treating your herpes?

have you been back to be seen and get properly tested for yeast and bacterial infections vaginally too to make sure neither is further complicating things for you?

why would you have guilt that you contracted herpes? it's incredibly common!!

I think at the age of 9, just saying mommy is tired or mommy has a headache would be the most appropriate way to let your child know you just need some down time every now and then :)

have you read the free herpes handbook yet?

I feel your pain! I am in the same boat, I freak out if my towel even gets washed with my daughter's! I know it's irrational, but I can't help it!
