buzzing with herpes symptons but hsv negative

several years ago i had what I thought was a hsv-1 breakout (first ever) buzzing burning and tingling around the lips.  Lips were red and a couple spots looked like the cracked and scabbed over.  Reoccured for several months.

No incidents for several years, after a high risk encounter (oral vaginal) and I became very nervous, buzzing occured several days later redness again even more severe (I also on pimple like blister pop up on the edge of my lip but i used zovarax cream and it went away in a couple days) but the redness cracking and buzzing and tingling has continued and spread inside my nose.  But 11 weeks later i am hsv1 igG 0.05 and hsv2 igG 0.09. Not herpes? or what could it be?  I was sure I had symptoms of herpes several years ago so the results shocked me.  Should I get tested again?

Yes a low negative at 11 weeks could be deemed negative as wont change any extreme in one week. With a low negative at 11 weeks i would be completly confident i am negative.

thanks, understood does the extremely low igG mean anything at the 11 week mark.  Also I noticed comments from other posters, my buzzing and tingling happens in multiple place on my face not just my lips, cheeks, chin etc.

Hi, even the best test miss 10% of the infections so try this to confirm. Next time a lip sore develops have it swabbed within 48 hours as swab are extremly accurate in diagnosing a positive.
