You certainly need to have more testing done. At this point you can call about the blood test results to see what they are but if it was a newly acquired infection, you'd just have to repeat them anyways.
Follow up on this with your regular provider if you have one. you need to find out if you have genital herpes as well as if it's hsv1 or hsv2.

i went to the public health dept. they put me onexamination table. the doc looked at it declared it herpies. took blood ( never wnt back for the result) told me no matter what the blood test said she stood by the diagnostic of herpies,
that it no other tests done and onlythe firstinnitial outbreak

You may want to try labcorp for the herpes type specific igg. The most accurate one is western blot but the money spent is up to you.
