herpes on palms/fingers

Is it possible to get herpes on your palms or fingers only? I get small red bumps/ clear blisters randomly on my palms and fingers. I thought it may be pompholyx, but they do not itch. They do not break open. They appear they will go away in 2-3 days or some may take 3-4 weeks. They are about the size of a pen point and usually appear on one or both hands during an out break. They can then go away for months at a time. They only hurt If I put direct pressure on them, otherwise I would not know they are there. any idea what this is? I have had them for about 8 years on and off. 36y/ F.
Just paranoid about hte whole Herpes thing. No other symptoms else where on the body.

This could also be a form of eczema ( Dyshidrotic eczema )  as well as an allergic reaction to something you are coming in contact with.  Also not sure if you are a big cleaner or not but cleaning without wearing gloves ( put cleanser in a bucket of water type cleaning ) can also cause things like this.  You need to follow up on it with your provider - it's doubtful it's herpes. Herpes on the hands and fingers is fairly painful according to everyone I know who has it there has said.

Herpes on your fingers is rare, and is painful.  I would doubt that's what you have.

Has a doc ever seen it?
