how easy to contract hpv1

I recently started dating a woman that has hpv1.  She has occasional outbreaks on the mouth.  What are the chances I will contract it by kissing her if she has no physical signs or says she has no symptoms?

60% of folks in the US have hsv1 .

25% of them have hsv2.

http://www.ashastd.org/herpes/herpes_learn_oralherpes.cfm  has good info on hsv1 oral infections for more reading.

No, I haven't been tested. Good point. Based on what I've read on this site, I probably have it and don't know it!

Question, and forgive me if it is a stupid one... do most people that have oral herpes have genital herpes as well?

I believe you mean hsv1 ?  hpv is a totally different virus.

have you ever been tested for herpes to know your own herpes status?
