Do I have herpes


Hi I had sex July 4 with a condom then it popped in the middle of us doing our thing I was half way drunk so I didn't care I continued after two days I had a discharge coming out my penis I took doxycycline for about a week and the discharge stopped but about a week or two later I started getting this tingle in my penis not painful but anoying  I didn't think any thing of it n continued on with my life about a week after that I had a like two small bumps on my foreskin n became very sacred I went to the doc n he said I might have herpes they ran blood test on me n I still haven't got the results back yet I still feel the tingle in my penis I read alot about the symptoms of herpes n most people say the tingle should only last about a day or two items been almost a month of the same feeling I'm very nervous about my results I don't know what to expect can you tell me if these are difinite symptoms of herpes or could it be something else

Even if there is herpes here, it is not the cause of all your symptoms such as discharge and tingling.

The bumps are potentially of concern, I am surprised a swab was not taken. They could be a number of things but maybe not a bad idea to eliminate herpes as a possibility.

Make sure you obtain a full copy of the blood test results. You need to understand the exact tests applied and the numerical results.
