sounds like a cold or other non-std related viral illness, not the flu like symptoms we consider part of a newly acquired herpes infection.
washing up after sex only makes you less sticky. std's don't sit on the skin to work their way into the body over time.

thank you so much grace I really appreciate it. It's good to hear that the malaise and congestion I feel is unrelated to my sexual contact with this woman. I certainly realize that I should be much more responsible especially in choosing who i sleep with and I will surely consider that in the future. let me ask you grace, if someone does have an active herpes outbreak and my skin comes in contact with that area am I 100 percent sure to contract the herpes virus or is there a percentage of or a ratio or something of some sort that can give me a better idea of how likely a person is when coming in direct contact with herpes to contract the virus
it's never 100% but when active symptoms are present, the risk is pretty high.
