Vaginal tear thats infected, herpes, or other?

I recently had sex while I was not aroused (wet) which ended up painful.  A few days later, I noticed that I was constantly wet, even when not aroused.  A couple days after that, I had a strange pain in my anal region.  I finally checked in a mirror, to find what looked like a tear.  At first I attributed it to cutting while shaving, then I remembered the painful sex a couple days earlier.  A day or two, I re-examined it, and it was actually a growth.  Its located between the base of the vaginal opening and the anus.  It was sensitive to the touch, but now after two weeks, unless I look at it, I forget its there.  I went to the docs thinking they would call it a hemmrhoid, only to be told I should take a test for herpes.  I was in shock.  The one and only man Ive been with claims to be clean of ALL STD's.  I did recieve oral sex from a previous guy once and only once 3 months prior.  Anyway, they took a culture, and I will know in about 7-10 days.  They did determine right away that I had BV, which im on medication for right now.  What are the chances that the vigorous sex led to a cut thats infected?

Getting a culture is the best way to find out if it is hsv.  It is possible to get hsv in the anal even if you didn't have anal sex since the penis is in such close proximity during intercourse.  It is also possible that you injured(tear) yourself since you weren't wet during sex.  In the future use a lubricant it can help prevent that type of irritation.  People can have hsv and never know they carry the virus.  The virus can be spread thru oral sex. There is a risk anytime you have sex...Whether you are with one person or multitudes of partners.  It only takes one encounter to be infected and that pertains to any std.
