Herpes or not
for awhile now after I have sex the shaft of my penis hurts right below the head. Only after sex not after masturbation. It hurts for a few days and then goes away. could this be herpes or just an allergic reaction to my partner. other symtoms that I get are urge to urinate and when I do theres no burning or pain. It basically is just discomfort in the shaft. if almost feels like theres something in there and then it goes away. no sores or anything.
are you both sure that herpes testing was included with your std testing? it's typically not a part of routine std testing.
Yes both have been tested. Its been awhile for me. I dont think she had a cold sore before this.You would think if I had symtoms at all I would have a rash or bumps or something.
herpes won't only occur after you've had sex. odds are this is something else going on genitally for you.

I also had no signs of anything and a girl gave me oral sex awhile ago. A couple days later she developed a cold sore on her lip. Could that have been from me or just a coincidence.
Doubtful its herpes or an allergic reaction unless your partner and you are using a lupe or something. Be seen by your provider for a proper work up.
