From what I've read, it sounds like if someone with Herpes touches your skin with their skin, you could have it. I don't think you have to have an outbreak right where they touched you.

If you just have a few ingrown hair bumps or pimples, I don't think you should assume it's herpes. If it's been 16 weeks since exposure and you're still worried, you should have a blood test. I understand first outbreak is typically 14 days after exposure?

yea so i have read alot of posts and answers on here and people are saying it is indeed possible to get genital HSV1 from receiving oral from someone who has oral HSV1. Well my first few pimples appeared at 16 weeks after exposure, and lasted only 2 days. They may be ingrown hairs because each have a hair out of it. And im still wondering  if it was an outbreak, wouldnt it occur where her herpes touched on me? The 3 red dots were up way higher where she did not touch. thanks

I would like to know this as well. I was told by this girl that she can't infect anyone when she's not having a cold sore. I now know that's not true. She had a cold sore last week, but we hung out last night and it was gone. She assured me she wasn't contagious anymore.

Well, long story short - now I'm freaking out that I may have gotten both mouth and genital herpes last night. Happy Valentine's Day. Is there some sort of bleach I can gargle or acid I can bathe in? Boiling water shower? Lysol?
